1. Acceptance

By using Outfit Buddy, you agree to these Terms of Service. Outfit Buddy is provided by an individual developer operating under the name DWYT Software in Switzerland. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The service

Outfit Buddy is a personal wardrobe and outfit-history tool. It helps you save outfit photos, organize clothing items, associate outfits with places, review wear history and optionally analyze images.

The app is currently provided for testing and may change, contain defects or lose compatibility with future app or operating-system versions.

3. Your content and local data

You remain responsible for the photos, notes, locations, wardrobe records, API keys and other content you add to Outfit Buddy. You must have the right to use any photo or information you provide.

Most app content is stored locally. You are responsible for exporting backups you want to retain. Uninstalling the app, clearing its storage, losing a device or using Delete All App Data may permanently remove local information. JSON backups do not currently include the underlying photo files.

4. Image analysis and recommendations

On-device and cloud AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate or inconsistent. Detected clothing items, colors, patterns, fabrics, matches and outfit suggestions are informational only and should be reviewed before you rely on them.

Outfit Buddy does not provide professional fashion, employment, safety, medical, legal or financial advice. You remain responsible for clothing choices and other decisions.

5. Optional third-party services

If you choose Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Open-Meteo or another third-party service, that service's terms, privacy practices, availability, regional restrictions and charges also apply. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any API key you provide and for charges incurred through your provider account.

Outfit Buddy does not guarantee that a third-party service will remain available or compatible. Cloud AI functionality may be changed or removed if provider terms do not permit a particular use.

Outfit Buddy is provided on an as-available basis. Features may be added, changed, suspended or removed. Continuous, secure or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

8. Intellectual property

Outfit Buddy's software, branding and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the app in accordance with these Terms.

Your ownership of photos and other content you provide is not transferred to Outfit Buddy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Outfit Buddy is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, or charges from third-party services arising from use of Outfit Buddy. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Outfit Buddy during the previous twelve months or the minimum amount required by mandatory law.

10. Ending use

You may stop using Outfit Buddy at any time. You can delete local data from the Help & Privacy screen and uninstall the app. Ending use does not automatically delete information previously submitted to a third-party provider.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Courts in Zurich, Switzerland have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you rights under another law or in another forum.

12. Changes

These Terms may be updated as Outfit Buddy changes. Material changes may be communicated in the app or through the public website where appropriate.
